Service Description
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) offers an evidence-based approach to the stresses, anxieties, and sense of disconnection that can arise from navigating these turbulent times. MBSR: Grounded Presence is an 8-week experiential programme that combines traditional mindfulness practices with a nature-inspired awareness. Drawing on insights from neuroscience and the psychology of stress and wellbeing, the course helps us integrate mindfulness not only as a practice, but as a way of living with balance and resilience. Each week includes guided meditations, mindful movement, and group reflection. We also invite the grounding qualities of nature - through imagery, practice, and home exercises - reminding us that we are not separate from the Earth, but part of its living body. This programme is an invitation to: 🍃 Reconnect with yourself 🍃 Deepen your relationships 🍃 Engage mindfully with nature Together, we rediscover our essential nature and the mutual relationship we share with Earth and each other. Through cultivating calm, resilience, and a sense of agency, we find ourselves more able to step into compassionate action - caring for ourselves, each other and Earth with presence and intention. What to expect We will meet online for 2 hours 30 minutes each week across 8 sessions, plus an orientation and a half-day of guided practice. Sessions include: ✨Guided meditation and mindful movement ✨Nature-infused practices ✨Group discussion and shared reflection ✨Practical insights into stress, anxiety, and wellbeing Between sessions, you’ll be invited to commit to 30–45 minutes most days, weaving mindfulness into daily life through guided practices and nature connection. Cancellation Policy
Conditions: A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required in the event of cancellation of the event or programme. In the event that the programme is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% payment will be required. If the cancellation is received with less than 24 hours’ notice, then full payment will be required. If the cancellation is due to medical reasons and a medical certificate is provided, then a refund of 90% will be given within 7 days. Individual sessions which are part of an ongoing programme may be rescheduled with 48 hours notice by agreement. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be changed and treated as lost if part of multi-session programme. Thank you for your understanding.
