The Japanese word Reiki means ‘Universal Energy’.  The practice of Reiki healing was, developed by Mikao Usui in Japan early in the 20th century.  It is a holistic method of energy healing which supports well-being of body, mind and spirit. 

A typical treatment takes place seated, or more usually lying down, fully clothed, and involves your Reiki Practitioner placing their hands gently on or above your body in a series of positions.  A Reiki session encourages deep relaxation, promoting a calm, peaceful sense of well-being on all levels.
