Service Description

Introducing Mindfulness is an evidence-based course which offers a brief taste of mindfulness practice and the theory behind it. It offers a practical introduction for those new to mindfulness and can also serve as a helpful way to reinvigorate the habit of mindfulness if you are looking to refresh your practice. We will explore some key mindfulness themes and practices in ways that may support you in everyday life and work. It is delivered in an accessible format through 3 weekly one hour sessions. The course is taught live on Zoom. Each week we explore a core theme: Week 1 - Understanding the mind’s natural tendency to be scattered and to wander and how we can train our attention. Week 2 - Exploring different ways of being and knowing and how we can learn to use these different modes to help us flourish over time. Week 3 - Recognising the difference between reacting and responding and developing ways to create the space to make skilful choices. You will also be invited to do a short daily ‘home practice’ of 10-15 minutes each day to help support your learning. All the resources you need to support your learning will be provided. The benefits Through beginning to practice mindfulness you may notice: • A sense of having more space or time in your day • Greater appreciation of what is pleasant and enjoyable in life • An ability to resource yourself in more challenging moments such as distractedness, stress or anxiety. • An ability to begin to respond throughout your day with greater clarity, compassion in ways that align with what’s important to you When & Where • Tuesday 28th May – 21.00 CET, live on Zoom • Tuesday 4th June, 20.00 – 21.00 CET, live on Zoom • Tuesday 11th June, 20.00 – 21.00 CET, live on Zoom Cost and what’s included? • €80 Euros for 3 x 1 hour sessions, live on Zoom • Audio copies of all our guided meditations • Access to our on-line learning platform with further learning resources
